Concert or workshop?
There are two different performance formats for you to choose from below when booking:
JAM ON TOAST with Milk:
Through a performance concert of his own songs, Jamie conveys a range of musical concepts through the joy of singing, playing, moving, listening and improvising, with all students (and teachers!) involved in a fast-paced and interactive musical journey. This concert is suitable for ages 3-8 years old (Preschool and Years K-2), although may be adapted to include older students.
JAM ON TOAST with Tea + Coffee:
Through an interactive performance workshop of both Jamie’s original songs as well as traditional children’s songs, Jamie demonstrates with the students how to play a range of singing games, circle games and partner songs to add to your repertoire within the classroom. This workshop is suitable for ages 8-12 years old (Years 3-6), although may be adapted to include younger students.
Other Performance Information
Each performance session lasts approximately one hour in duration. Audience numbers may range from 25-250 students. Up to 3 concerts/workshops may be booked in a day, with starting times easily arranged to suit your school’s timetable.

Book Jamie for a series of 5 or 10 Jam On Toast hands-on workshop sessions for your school or preschool and enjoy a sequential and on-going learning experience. Workshops can be spaced throughout a term or throughout the year on dates that suit you. FREE TEACHER TRAINING is also included when booking a series, with in-depth discussions of skills and concepts taught and ideas for continued learning experiences.

All schools receive a FREE copy of Jamie’s CD “One Sunny Day” (a mini-album of his songs) to continue to enjoy the songs after the performance. A Music Resource Book is also available for purchase to accompany the CD. This book contains guided activities for teachers to use in the classroom, either before or after the concert. Many of the songs can easily be linked to the aims and outcomes of Music curriculum, (such as in the NSW K-6 Creative Arts Syllabus), including a range of singing, playing and moving activities, as well as suggested organising sound and listening activities.
