One Sunny Day certainly captured the tone of joy and energy of the musical journey that Jamie shared with the preschool children. It is far more than a sing-a- long session. All the songs not only exuded fun but they also captured the children’s interest and attention.
Jamie clearly has an interest in sharing his love of music with the children and the ability to hold their attention and involve them in the enjoyable journey that explores the music world that he delivers in this performance. The educational content of the program is certainly relevant to the musical world of the pre-schooler and further more he has been able to creatively deliver this in a developmentally appropriate manner for preschoolers.
The impact of the Jamie’s performance we shared continues to be observed in the children in the preschool as they happily and naturally integrate music into their independent play, picking up lines of songs and then going on their own musical journey. We certainly look forward to hearing the tunes of Jamie here again soon.

Jamie is an engaging and delightful performer for children of all ages. His passion and expertise in teaching and writing music for children are so evident in his shows and audio CD. He cleverly weaves a musical learning journey through the progression of his songs, actions and activities with the kids. Fun, refreshing and personable.

James Madsen (Jamie) is a treasure: a music teacher/performer who is able to captivate, entertain and inform young children, using all his own compositions. All this with an energy and grace, clearly enhanced by his background in gymnastics. In a world glutted with superficial children’s entertainers, it is rare to hear music of such freshness and quality. We are all looking forward to Jamie’s return performance this year.

I love taking my two children to see Jamie in concert. They dance and sing along with the music and even have opportunities to get up on stage and participate. Jamie has a gift for entertaining. His music fills the room and it is wonderful to see so many children having so much fun.
Michaela Allen-Waters, Mum
Jamie concerts are fun. We get to dance and sometimes even go on stage. My little sister and my dad love his songs too.
Ruby, age 4
I was very impressed with how fast the 3 and 4 year old children caught on to the songs. Jamie writes such quality songs that are so catchy, with good messages sent through the lyrics.
Veronica Whitaker, Mum
I like to dance and do all the actions to Jamie’s songs. And I even dance with my Dad to Fabuloso!
